ING Holland Turkey Symposium


On the 21st of June I attended the Symposium 'Holland and Turkey: a sustainable partnership' at the Van Nelle Design Factory in Rotterdam. This symposium  was organized by ING bank with the Fenedex (the Dutch Federation of Exporters). The participation of more than 250 government and business representatives shows the interest in the business potential between Turkey and Holland.

Looking back to a successful Economic Trade Mission to Turkey


The Economic Trade Mission from 20 until March 25, 2011 by IT Business Bridge was organized in collaboration with EVD, it was a great success. The trade mission program was to visit Ankara, Istanbul and Izmir. The purpose of this mission was to link Dutch companies to Turkish companies and governments. I joined the trade mission as the chairman of IT BusinessBridge. Secretary Hans Bleker joined also the trade mission. He had to leave on Tuesday morning back to the Netherlands.


Turkey: the land of opportunities


Turkey is now one of the most attractive markets to invest. Therefore the isBusinessBridge Foundation decided to organize an IT Trade Mission to Turkey. The planning is to visit with Dutch IT companies 23-27 March 2011 Turkish IT companies.

The registration of Dutch and Turkish companies has started. After the scientific research of the profiles the matching analyses between the companies will be finished. Met the new ambassador of Turkey

On October 20, 2010 NETUBA organized in cooperation with the Chamber of Commerce of Rotterdam an introduction to the new Turkish Ambassador Mr. Z.E. Uğur Doğan. I was invited as the Chairman of itBusinessBridge Foundation. Together with the general secretary Mr. Onur Ozyigit we visited this event in Rotterdam.


Before the start of the event we have met two young professionals Mrs. Necla Gunay and Yuyo Tsen Bcom. They are project managers at Lectorate International Business and Innovation. We will meet each other after our business trip to Istanbul. Mr. Bert de Nooijer Chairman of NETUBA held a short welcome speech.
